great stay but minor issues

The staff provided excellent service, always cheerful and attentive. The pool area was a highlight, especially for the kids who enjoyed their time swimming.

I appreciated the great breakfast and the friendly staff during my visit. Being just a few steps from Route 66 Pub & Grill made it super easy to grab a meal after exploring the nearby Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center, which is perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

Can recommend for a temporary stay

Clean room, friendly staff, and a great breakfast including fresh sausage and scrambled eggs made my visit enjoyable, along with the added bonus of free parking and a 24-hour reception for convenience.

i previously stayed at this la quinta and was impressed this time also. the breakfast was better than expected with a nice variety, including warmers for tacos and homemade biscuits. the indoor/outdoor pool was great, and the overall atmosphere made it a fantastic experience during our trip to explore the area.

A Memorable Stay with Unforgettable Breakfast

Our family had a delightful stay for two nights. The spacious Deluxe Queen Room was comfortable, and the breakfast spread was the best I've ever experienced at a hotel! Don't miss the attached Old Chicago restaurant. great food after long days exploring. Expect some noise from the hallway.

The indoor pool had mold around the waterline and an unpleasant smell, making it feel less inviting. Water levels in both the pool and hot tub were low, which gave me concerns about cleanliness. My room was smaller than expected and had very few electrical outlets, making it tough to charge devices. A poorly secured furniture piece in the room fell off the wall, which was a bit irritating. Additionally, a neighboring dog kept barking and disrupted the peace—definitely not ideal for a good night’s sleep. While the early check-in was appreciated, the overall room experience left a bit to be desired.

A great location near the interstate with clean rooms, but the dog area lacked seating options and felt neglected. The check-in process was smooth, and the breakfast included generous offerings like biscuits and gravy. Unfortunately, the rooms were damp from poor air conditioning, which made the towels and sheets feel wet.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! The rooms were clean and comfy. The breakfast was amazing. We explored nearby casinos and even checked out Grand Falls for some stunning views. Seriously, don’t miss the attached restaurant, Old Chicago, for a great meal.

However, the front desk staff could be a bit inattentive. I had to wait a while before being helped, which was frustrating.

la quinta has a fantastic location, just minutes away from shopping. the indoor and outdoor pools were a hit with the kids, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. we really appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly, making it easier for our family travel. plus, there's a chicago pizza restaurant nearby!

During my stay, I was very impressed by the wonderful breakfast options, including a chef-cooked selection of scrambled eggs and various breads and fruits. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was fantastic, with easy access to nearby dining options. However, the indoor pool was a bit too cold for comfort.

I truly enjoyed my stay at La Quinta By Wyndham Joplin. The hotel was tastefully decorated with warm tones and comfortable seating areas. The staff was incredibly helpful, making it easy for me to navigate the property.

The room was spacious and super comfy. I loved that I could grab dinner at the Old Chicago restaurant right in the hotel. Between the nice indoor pool and the relaxing sun loungers, I really had the chance to unwind. The only hiccup was a slightly loud knock in the morning, but overall it was a smooth stay! 😊

best rest stop for tired travelers and amazing breakfast with eggs made from scratch

Incredible experience with welcoming staff, delicious breakfast, and pet-friendly atmosphere. Definitely coming back!
